I had a great month at this hotel featuring beautifully maintained gardens and a charming traditional style that really set it apart. The dining options, especially at breakfast, were fantastic with plenty of variety, though I did find the Wi-Fi connectivity disappointing. The staff were mostly welcoming and attentive, and I enjoyed the large room with an amazing view, but the reception team could be a bit aloof. Overall, it was a lovely experience in a beautiful location.

My stay at Pestana Miramar was mostly enjoyable, featuring spectacular views and beautifully landscaped gardens. The staff were incredibly accommodating, making my experience memorable. We enjoyed a lovely ten-day stay at the hotel, relishing the tranquil gardens and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was fabulous, and the location was ideal for exploring nearby shops and Funchal. However, the spa facilities didn’t quite meet expectations, especially the temperature of the jacuzzis and indoor pool, which could use some improvement.
